Inexorable

Poster Inexorable

Marcel Bellmer never renewed the success of his first novel "Inexorable". Years later, after a long depression, with his wife Gloria and daughter Lucie, he settles in his recently deceased father in law's luxurious house. The arrival of a young maid destabilizes Marcel, bringing back his taste for life and writing, but this will also expose him to other abysses.

Two years after Adoration, Fabrice du Welz reunites with Benoît Poelvoorde and continues his exploration of incandescent human relationships that consume individuals to the pits of hell. With his tormented writer hero, the filmmaker seems close to a masked confession where flesh and tension reign. Never has his cinema been more sensually upsetting.

Inexorable.
