In 2015, an old fan of the famous slovenian conceptual rock band Laïbach, now a cultural director, organizes a concert meant to take place in Pyongyang, in one of the most  secluded countries in the world.

Starting from a rock lover’s completely mad bet, we follow the setting up of a major culture shock, on a background of dictatorship and industrial music. Lost between Ubu and Kafka, this subversive fable is the work of two passionate authors : Uģis Olte (Double Aliens) and Morten Traavik. Both funny and caustic, Liberation Day even jostles our clichés concerning North Korea.
