Liverleaf

Haruka, a newcomer in a country high-school, has a hard time fitting in. Little by little things degenerate and she is bullied more and more up to the point where her schoolmates set her house on fire. Her parents and sister are killed and Haruka decides to get her revenge.

Based on a manga by Rensuke Oshikiri, Liverleaf is signed by Eisuke Naito, a director accustomed to teenage movies (Let’s Make the Teacher Have a Miscarriage Club, Puzzle, Litchi Hikari Club), who here directs what is considered his most accomplished work, in line with Battle Royale and the World of Kanako.
