Blood & Flesh : the reel life & ghastly death of Al Adamson

As wily and stingy as Roger Corman, as passionate as Ed Wood, Al Adamson is the author of a number of exploitation movies with titles that fully disclose their B movie flavor: Dracula vs Frankenstein, Horror of the Blood Monsters or Psycho a Go-Go and many others.

The talented David Gregory (director of a segment of Theater Bizarre and of Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley’s Island of Dr. Moreau, both shown here) relates the life of this eccentric from the lower end of the cinema spectrum, in love with the 7th Art, until his tragic demise, as improbable as his films.
