Barbaque

Poster Barbaque

Sophie is the cashier and Vincent slices the meat. Their life as butchers, not very thrilling - forget the sex - but will soon be upset by an attack by vegans when Vincent kills one of the assailants. What if this event was their chance to thrive?

Having bashed the flaws of religious communities in Co-existing, humorist, actor and director Fabrice Éboué lets loose for his fourth feature film and takes on the vegans/carnivores debate. He succeeds in combining laughter with an acid contemporary point of view with this salami slasher guaranteed GMO free. Sophie and Vincent, a bit like the farmers in Kevin Connor's Motel Hell, are well worth meating.

Barbaque.
