Story : Technicolor Skull is a real sensory experience, about 20 minutes long, exploring the mental impact of a magic ritual in the context of an improvised performance. With Brian Butler at the special guitar and the electronics, and Kenneth Anger at the theremin and visuals, the collaboration of these two Californian artists gives birth to a "ceremony" that is enchanting and spectral as well. An initiation to occult rituals, and an event that will leave a mark on you.

The performance will be followed by The Occult program, a screening of Magick Cinema composed of several rare films by the two artists they will introduce themselves:
Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome (Kenneth Anger, 1954, 38min)
Brush of Baphomet (Kenneth Anger, 2009, 7 min)
Night of Pan (Brian Butler, 2009, 7 min)
Union of Opposites (Brian Butler, 2012, 10 min)

Artist, director, writer and musician, Brian Butler lives in Los Angeles. Fascinated by mystic forces, the supernatural and ritual magic, his work is totally immersed in occultism. He works today in close collaboration with Kenneth Anger on several films and exhibitions all over the world. His personal work and his films have been shown in China, at the Athens Biennale, the Tate Modern in London and at the Cannes festival. As a musician, he has collaborated with Von LMO, Rozz Williams (Christian Death) and the Moving Units from California.
