One serial killer is already enough to deal with. But when it's two maniacs who leave a trail of dead young women behind them, you can fear the worst. Eve has survived them but the murderers won't let her be. She flees into the forest with nature as her sole ally...

No need to introduce Vincent Paronnaud, a faithful patron of our festival, who under the nickname Winshluss, rocked the world of comic books with his very dark but brilliant Welcome to the Death Club, Pat Boon or Pinocchio, with their inimitable graphics and devastating humor. He's always had a passion for cinema: co-director of Persepolis and Chicken with Plums with Marjane Satrapi, he also organised a regional zombie invasion in the wacky Villemolle 81, shown here in 2009. You might be surprised to see him court the slasher genre, but then you'd be forgetting his art of thwarting all codes. The genre is in total adequation with his dark side and his pessimism; faithful to his misanthropy, he pits human savagery against an original  benevolent natural animality. Nature becomes a character in itself, as it was in the 70s, in Australian supernatural thrillers like Long Week-End. With its twilit hues, Hunted is a pantheist slasher where poetry often meets horror. Mortally Malickian !
