Stênio, a night employee at the morgue, is a man who has the power to speak with the dead. One day he learns that his wife is cheating on him and looks for a means of vengeance. Unfortunately he sets off a terrible curse.
Acclaimed for writing Embodiment of Evil, on which he was José Mojica Marins' assistant, Brazilian Dennison Ramalho makes his directing debut in 1998 with the striking Nocturnu, Grand Prize at L’Étrange Festival that year, followed by a series of short films (Love from Mother Only, Ninjas), then by a segment in the anthology ABC of Death 2, before this first feature film, cited as a rightful heir to Peter Jackson’s and Sam Raimi's horror comedies.
