Ciné-Concert: L'Étrange Séance of the Grand Guignol

Once is not the norm, but our annual show on the beginnings of cinema will this year be a bloody one. Everything will be pure Grand Guignol: you’ll see some of the first horror movies (cinema was born at about the same time as the Grand Guignol), including extremely rare (and in color!) Lumière films , as well as works by Maurice Tourneur, genuine British Grand Guignol films from the 20s, Griffith, Méliès, and a thousand other surprises. A unique and unforgettable screening , hosted as each year by Serge Bromberg (who will accompany the films on piano). There will be lots of laughs, but above all, this will be a show to make your legs shimmy and your head spin!
