It would be an understatement to say we were eagerly awaiting Bertrand Mandico’s  (Boro in the Box, Notre Dame des Hormones, Living Still Life) move to feature films, as he’s one of the most exciting French filmmakers. It’s now done with The Wild Boys, described by its author as a “Jules Vernish Robinson and a Burroughsian organic delirium ”, with the five said boys all played… by women.
