After the rape and murder of a teenager, sadistic Klaus attempts to kill himself. He survives but remains alive only thanks to an artificial lung that forbids all movement. Soon Angelo, offers his help as a nurse.

In his first feature film, Agustí Villaronga (El Mar, Black bread) chose to rub salt in the then still fresh wound of Francoism. This romantic and sordid opera, that dives into the roots of evil, benefits from the presences of Günter Meisner (often cast as a Nazi in movies), David Suss (Moon Child by the same Villaronga) and of the beautiful Marisa Paredes, seen in  The Devil's Backbone and in Almodovar’s cinema.
