A young man calls his mother on the phone. Beside him is the body of his dead girlfriend... To cure him of his murderous impulses, his mother has him committed to a clinic supposed to cure him of his "problems".
Eddie Alcazar is set on making a name for himself in sci-fi cinema. With Perfect, already being compared to Shane Carruth's Primer, he leads us into a very stylized world, and questions the flaws of our society always in search of progress, betterment and perfection. Supported by Steven Soderbergh and Flying Lotus (composer of the soundtrack, and whose astounding Kuso was produced by Alcazar), Perfect bears all the marks of a future cult movie.
