Comedy specialists, Jocelyn DeBoer (authors of several essays on the genre) and Dawn Luebbe adapt their eponymic short film and sign one of the strangest comedies of the year. Like Joe Dante (The 'Burbs, Gremlins), the two filmmakers scrape the varnish off conformity and subtely spread a good dose of discomfort. A nice discovery at the last Sundance Festival.
