With his false airs of Monicelli’s Big Deal on Madonna Street revamped by Tod Browning, this first film by italian decorator Cosimo Gomez also has affinities with Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit, with its description of a group breaking up from inside, with constant role switching between tormentors and victims. As a bonus, Marco D'Amore (the Gomorra series) and Claudio Santamaria (They Call me Jeeg, last year’s New Genre Grand Prize), deliver incredible acting performances. Who’s the freak ?
