In Zambia, a nine year old girl is accused of witchcraft. The inhabitants of her village lock her up in a prison camp for witches with other convicted women. Convinced she’s under a spell, she believes that she can’t escape without turning into a goat.

With remarkable talent, young filmmaker Rungano Nyoni pursues a perfect cinematographic career. A London University of Arts graduate, she’s signed several short films (The Lure, The Mass of men, The Listen). Returning to her native country for her first solo feature film, she brings back this daring and insolent farce that shakes up old time traditions. The shocker of the 2017 Director’s Fortnight.
