During a snowstorm in the Andes Mountains, a beheaded woman's body is discovered. Agent Cruz investigates. But while everyone seems to be hiding dark secrets, things become very murky when David, the main suspect and husband of Cruz's mistress, is interned.
After Los Salvajes, his first feature film released in 2012, Alejandro Fajel can count on the support of Rouge International, a French production company, that gave us Julia Ducournau's Grave. Going from noir film to fantasy thriller, reminiscent of Na Hong-Jin's Strangers, Fajel has fun misleading us through his labyrinthic movie with its terrifying symbolism. A hallucinated and hypnotic odyssey.
