From 1967, the West-German extreme-left wing revolutionary organization Red Army Faction (RAF), commonly known as the Baader-Meinhof gang, will spread terror for a decade across the Federal Republic of Germany.

After We children from Bahnhof Zoo and Last exit to Brooklyn, Uli Edel adapts Sefan Aust’s novel, which enables him to take a look at his country’s traumas through the characters of Andreas Baader (Moritz Bleibtreu - Das Experiment), his girlfriend Gudrun Ensslin (Johanna Wokalek - North face) and journalist Ulrike Meinhof (Martina Gedeck - The lives of others), which joins the group.
