Just like Girl asleep, also in competition this year, Baby Bump is a true and rigorous portrait of adolescence. A « Biennale College » project, this film made by Polish director Kuba Czekaj, obsessed by this topic throughout his whole filmography (Don't be afraid of the dark room, Twist & Blood, and before The Erlprince next year) takes the form of an introspective and universal quest that ressembles a Charles Burns sitcom.
