Odaka, a cleaner, helps his friend Ando to secude Yuka, a young waitress, by acting as a go-between. In the coffeeshop where the young lady works, Odaka runs into Morita by chance, his childhood friend which Yuka accuses of harassment.

Adapted from the eponymous manga by Furuya Minoru, Hime-Anole starts like a romantic comedy with hints of sitcom, to turn into a shooting gallery with a dark humor as corrosive as efficient and well put together. An expert of rom com, Keisuke Yoshida proves that he can also craft a piece of transgression and mean humor.
