Another highly improbable television moment with this very special evening presented by the Vendredi TV show on New Year's Eve in 1976: a satirical musical comedy dedicated to the woes of dealing with French administration. All in song and dance (with a young Florent Pagny among the choir), we follow the misadventures of a young couple of civil servants, anxiously awaiting assignments to the same location so they can live together. Imagine the same thing nowadays. No. Political and social subversive humor has definitely been banned from TV screens. Which makes this “replay” even more precious, a delirious cult remnant from a bygone past.
