“Obviously, Bernard Montiel knew Shelby, the contact. I was certain that the TV Host’s visit was linked to an extra-human presence. Did Bernard Montiel fall into a trap? All of this seemed far too simple.”
Warning, little bomb! Where Burlesque genre meets absurd humour, L’Élan (The Moose) is the first film by Etienne Labroue trained at Groland and Les Guignols de l’Info. Directed outside of all production systems, he has called together a bunch of remarkable actors (Aurelia Petit, Olivier Broche, François Morel…) around a fluffy moose. Or maybe Monty Python and Quentin Dupieux directed an episode of Les Portes du Futur by Jimmy Guieu together (Labroue’s film is moreover dedicated to the latter).
