Two evenings of unforgettable concerts, a retrospective of their best films – including severals unseen films – the French premiere of Don Hardy's documentary Theory of Obscurity: a film about The Residents who impeccably retraces 42 years of creative work from the most famous band of strangers in the world. 

Hidden behind theirs masks and a tenacious anonymity, these American counter-culture heroes, born in the outback of Louisiana in the mid 60s, and after having produced a hundred of albums, 24 multimedia projects and an astronomical amount of performances since 1972, are still a major influence of the industrial scene and of bands such as Mr Bungle, Devo, Primus, Half Japanese, The Art of Noise, Animal Collective or Ween. They are one of the most prolific collective in terms of both musical and ultimate Art-Rock performances. They present Shadowland, last piece from the trilogy Randy, Chuck & Bob, started in 2010 for their 40th anniversary. After The Talking Light, on death and ghosts, then The Wonder of Weird, in 2013, on love, this ultimate piece deals with birth, rebirth, reincarnation and near-death experiences in a whole new version exclusive to Europe.

And for this new edition, they come back with one of the master-pieces of French fantasy cinema, as spectacular as priceless, in a restored version, and presented by the ringmaster of silent cinema, Serge Bromberg in person !
