On the run after a robbery, Rico and Jeff run away in the suburbs of Lille to a stash in Nice until the heat cools down. Before they get there, they stop in Burgundy at their cousin Manu's.

Admirator of the Lille's collective « Trash et Tradition », Gerald Touillon got known to the public through his punk and hallucinated documentary about his father Paulo Anarko screened during the Groland Film Festival. After a few videos nicely wrapped he put online - Que du bonheur, La Tournée du pére-noël Osman (sic) – he is back with this piece fed of Reiser's comic books and Hara-Kiri spirit but also influence by Joel Seria and Groland's universe.

I wanted to propose « Paolo Anarko », Gerard Touillon’s first feature film but the management of the festival prevented me from it arguing it can be seen on the internet. When I announced the news to Gerald, he didn’t miss a beat : he called his hacker friends, took his camera, and shot another one, just as penniless, especially made for the occasion. The cinema that I love is also about the adventure of making a film, like we would do a hold-up if we had the balls. Before creating a “believable” story on screen, You have to make your team, actors, partners, producers, a distributor, movie channels “believe”. But if we can only make our loved ones “believe”, it doesn’t matter, let’s do it anyways. Like Belgian directors. Like in the seventies. I’ve only seen an un-edited version of “Tranquilou” but I already like it a lot. Don’t miss the end: it doesn’t exist !
