Possessed since childhood by the spirit of a vengeful witch, Janine is condemned to wander in search of victims to quench her thirst.
Black magic, witchcraft, vampirism in Mario Bava style lightings, and an impressive woman character under a hellish curse, tormented and dangerous, as were some Hammer company creatures like John Gilling’s “reptile woman”. One of the Ramsay’s better achievements, closely in line with the Indian folktale tradition.
