It is reverently that the young film-maker Jason Bognacki pays tribute to transalpine maestros: Dario Argento and Mario Bava in particular, and to Giallo in general. We can also find traces of the influence of The Omen by Donner and Rosemary’s Baby by Polanski. Shaped as a surrealist labyrinth, this ultra-polished postmodern tale takes us in a sick and poisonous quest. A promising first movie destined to become a little classic of indie horror.
