In a post-apocalyptic world, a man with a factory instead of a head is pursued by assailants. Trackeddown, he will by all means try to survive.

Englishman Judd Brucke proposes to us, under reference of the German expressionistic cinema, a black diamond rocked by the wild and raw music of the group Die Baader-Meinhof Gruppe / Red Army Faction. Chernozem, real steampunk shell made of noise and of fury, is completely filmed in VHS in unrecognizable Glasgow, which we can qualify as fantasy steampunk, close to Guy Maddin's universe and Shinya Tsukamoto's. A worthy heir to Edmund Elias Merhige's cult movie Begotten.
