A man finds himself committed in a psychiatric institution for having attempted suicide. Amnesic, this strange patient cannot control his ability to pass on his nightmares to those around him.
After a praise-filled reception at the festival of Avoriaz in 1983, this first - and best - film by Roger Christian disappeared from everyone’s radar. After an apprenticeship as decorator and art director (Alien, Star Wars), Roger Christian stages surrealist and bloody visions served by the special effects artist Nick Allder, to serve a scenario which refuses didactism and conformity. A small jewel to rehabilitate as quickly as possible.
