Mysteriously deceased, the actress Anna Fritz's corpse is brought to the morgue where works Pau the introvert. Fascinated by the lifeless body, he calls two of his friends who join him at the facility. While under the influence of alcohol, his guests give in to necrophilia, but Anna Fritz then comes back to life.
The Corpse of Anna Fritz is devilish behind closed door movie co-written and directed by the Catalan director Hèctor Hernández Vicens, determined to make a place for himself in the Iberian genre cinema. With a remarquable economy of means (four actors, a single set and unit of time), he shapes an infernal game that traps its protagonists forced to involve themselves even more into horror and transgression.
