Through an editing of archive images previously unseen and restored for this occasion, Jean-Gabriel Periot offers us a portrait of German history and of the evolution of the revolutionary terrorist group Red Army Faction of Andreas Baader and Ulrike Meinhof, notorious under the nickname Baader-Meinhof Gang.
As usual, the director already author of Eût-elle été criminelle (about shaven women of the Liberation) and The Devil (the emergence of Black Panthers) use with talent the editing to question our own morality. A reflection of our contemporary society. The shock of the Berlinale's last edition.
