Séquestré depuis sa naissance par sa mère, Bubby ignore tout du monde extérieur qu’il croit empoisonné. L’arrivée de son père, dont il était tenu éloigné, va bouleverser sa vie.
Le jour de ses 35 ans, Bubby va enfin sortir. Il découvre un monde à la fois étrange, terrible et merveilleux où il y a des gens, de la pizza, de la musique et des arbres…

Note du distributeur: "Bad Boy Bubby a complètement été restauré à la George Eastman House à Rochester aux Etats-Unis qui est le plus ancien musée de la photographie du monde et l’un des plus vieux en matière d’archives cinématographiques.
Cette restauration s’est menée en concertation et en coproduction avec Vertigo Productions, Australie; Nour Films, France ; Australian National Film and Sound Archive ; George Eastman House, Etats-Unis.
Nous avons créé la première version numérique HD 2K à la George Eastman House à Rochester. Le son a été remasteurisé et augmenté en 5.1 en collaboration avec la SAFC Australian National Film and Sound Archive sous la direction de Rolf de Heer."
