Chasuke n’a qu’une vie de subalterne au Paradis, où sa fonction se limite à servir le thé aux anges. L’un d’eux lui apprend que Yuki, une jeune fille dont il s’est épris en suivant ses aventures de là-haut, va succomber dans un accident de voiture. Il décide de redescendre sur Terre pour secourir Yuki.

Il y a deux éditions, Miss Zombie fut pour beaucoup de spectateurs l’une des belles découvertes du festival. De son vrai nom Hiroyuki Tanaka, le réalisateur Sabu est de retour cette année avec une comédie colorée et débridée, adaptée d’un de ses romans, qui louche sévèrement vers les films les plus détraqués de ses compatriotes Sono Sion, Takashi Miike et Hitoshi Matsumoto.
