Une expédition dans la jungle découvre le corps d’un homme assassiné des années auparavant. Sur lui, une carte censée mener à un incroyable trésor. Kramil, le frère de la victime, part à la recherche de l’inestimable magot.

Première adaptation turque, Tarzan à Istanbul sort entre deux épisodes hollywoodiens de la saga. Avec la volonté farouche de profiter du succès de son cousin américain, le film prend quelques libertés avec ce matériau de base pour cette relecture exotique farfelue.
