Après six saisons, la série danoise Klovn qui décrit le quotidien délirant des deux comiques Frank Hvam and Casper Christensen dans leurs propres rôles eut droit en 2010 à une version sur grand écran réalisée par Mikkel Nørgaard (Les Enquêtes du Département V : Miséricorde, et sa suite, Profanation), au succès critique et commercial phénoménal. Cinq ans après, Casper et Frank sont de retour pour de nouvelles aventures, à l’assaut de l’Amérique. Un croisement détonnant entre la série Louie et les films de Sacha Baron Cohen (Brüno, Borat).
