En 1969, l’agent de la CIA Kidman arrive à Londres. Sa mission : contacter Stanley Kubrick et le convaincre de mettre en scène un faux alunissage de Apollo 11 en cas d’échec de la mission. N’arrivant pas à ses fins, il est obligé de s’associer à Johnny, un manager musical de seconde zone.

Pour son premier long métrage, Antoine Bardou-Jacquet s’inspire d’une légende urbaine tenace qui a alimenté les fantasmes les plus fous des complotistes cinéphiles, et nous offre une comédie pop sur fond de paranoïa en pleine Guerre Froide. Face à Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) et Robert Sheehan (la série Misfits) se retrouvent à nouveau huit ans après leur collaboration dans l’étonnant Cherrybomb.
