De son vrai nom Khavn De La Cruz, Khavn est un artiste touche-à-tout qui est devenu une des figures les plus atypiques du cinéma digital. Depuis 1994, il est l’auteur de plus de 100 courts métrages et 45 longs métrages. Ce Takashi Miike philippin bénéficie des services du directeur de la photographie Christopher Doyle (Underwater Love, In the mood for love, Infernal Affairs), d’une bande originale signée Stereo Total et de l’acteur Asano Tadanobu (Thor, Zatoichi, Vital) pour un résultat punk et inclassable.
