Unique rescapée d’une attaque surnaturelle qui a décimé tout son car scolaire, Mitsuko, lycéenne qui a la faculté de voir les morts prochaines, va tenter de sauver ses camarades d’école d’un assaut de fantômes maléfiques.

Entre deux films plus personnels, l’inépuisable Sono Sion (Suicide Club, Love Exposure, Guilty of Romance) met en boîte avec frénésie cette adaptation du manga The Chasing World, dans laquelle on retrouve les obsessions habituelles de l’auteur pour la violence opératique et le chaos.
