Après un court séjour en prison, Sin-Dee, transsexuel, est de retour sur les trottoirs de Los Angeles. Elle apprend que pendant son absence, son amant et souteneur l’a trompée avec une femme. Sin-Dee et son amie Alexandra partent à la recherche des infidèles dans les bas-fonds de la ville.

Après le mélancolique Starlet, Sean Baker (Prince of Broadway, la série Greg the Bunny) retrouve son co-scénariste Chris Bergoch pour nous offrir un mélange halluciné de Macadam cowboy et Priscilla, folle du désert. Sublimée par l’actrice Kitana Kiki Rodriguez, cette irrésistible comédie allumée aux allures de roadmovie camp est l’une des plus truculentes surprises de cette édition, entièrement tournée au téléphone portable.
