Voilà plus de trois décennies que le groupe Killing Joke choque et remue la scène rock anglaise. S’il demeure une référence majeure dans le post-punk, influence revendiquée par des groupes comme Metallica, Korn ou même Nirvana, il a néanmoins connu de nombreux bouleversements et une progression atypique.

Après des années de recherche, durant lesquelles il a exhumé des images rares et interviewé des membres du groupe et des personnalités musicales, Shaun Pettigrew signe un passionnant portrait de trente années de l’histoire d’un monument de la musique britannique.
