Pour la huitième année, Canal+ Cinéma et L’Étrange Festival s’associent pour remettre le Grand Prix Nouveau Genre à l’un des longs métrages sélectionnés en Compétition Internationale.
Le film primé sera acheté par la chaîne pour une future diffusion à l’antenne.
Les 24 films concourent également pour le Prix du Public. Le lauréat se verra récompensé d’une campagne publicitaire sur Canal+ Cinéma.
